POLYURETHANE FILLER VARNISH (2+1)

DEFINITION
It is an alkyd polyurethane resin based, two component, matt appearance, polyurethane filling varnish for furniture.

PLACE OF USE
It is used as a filling varnish on all kinds of solid and veneered wooden surfaces for internal use in the furniture and decoration industry.

ADVANTAGES
• Easily sanded,
• It has high filling power.

NOTE
Drying times are the times that can be obtained when applied in a way that leaves a dry film thickness of 40 microns in one coat under normal conditions. It should be known that the drying time will increase as the application thickness increases and in cold weather.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Surface Preparation
The application surface must be clean and solid. Wooden surfaces should be cleaned of dust after appropriate sanding.

Ambient conditions
Ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +35°C. In applications to be carried out in closed environments, ventilation should be considered.

Preparation of the Mixture
It is a two-component product and should be prepared in the specified mixture ratio, considering the pot life, as much as the amount to be consumed. In order to obtain a homogeneous mixture, the product temperature should not be less than 15°C. Component A should be mixed in itself, and hardener (component B) should be added by paying attention to the mixing ratio. A and B components should be mixed until homogeneous.

Application to the Surface
The mixture, which is ready for application, is applied in two or three cross coats, depending on the desired surface fullness, by air spraying. It is left to cure in a dust-free environment.

Cleaning of Equipment
With polyurethane thinner.

PACKING INFORMATION
A set of 18 kg 11501 POLYURETHANE VARNISH FILLER; It consists of 12 kg net product code 11501 component A in a bucket and 6 kg net B component with product code 11501 in a gallon.

STORAGE INFORMATION
The material should be stored in a cool and dry place. When stored properly and in its unopened original packaging, the life of the material is 1 year for component A and 6 months for component B.
