INNOPUR FLOOR PU TOPCOAT ACR-2K

DEFINITION
It is an aliphatic acrylic polyester resin based, two component, high UV resistant, fast curing material designed for use in multi-layer or thin layer systems as a smooth, glossy or matte topcoat colored floor material.

PLACE OF USE
• It is used as a top coat protective paint for all kinds of floor coverings, including outdoor applications.
• Concrete, cement and epoxy joints, all kinds of industrial floors,
• On galvanized, aluminum and stainless steel surfaces,
• On PVC floors,
• As a protective topcoat in exterior insulation materials.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Surface Preparation
The floor surface must be clean and stable. Pay attention to the waiting time of the top coat of the previous primer or base coat.

Surface Preparation
The surface should be cleaned using pressurized water if possible; Oil, grease, fuel and paraffin waste should be removed, as well as completely free from mold release agents, cement residues, chips, loose particles and cured membranes. The application surface must be DRY.

Resistance
Mechanically, it is resistant to the mechanical action of medium to high load. And thermally it withstands up to + 80 ° C at humid temperature (as well as without chemical and mechanical action) and + 120 ° C at dry temperature.

Application Conditions
• The relative humidity of the air should be maximum 75% and the application (ambient and surface) temperature should be between 5 and 35 ° C.
• If it is applied outdoors, it should not be rainy 48 hours before and after the application.

Mixing Procedure
It is a two-component product and therefore, it should be prepared at the mixing ratio specified for the amount to be used, taking into account the pot life. For a homogeneous mixture, make sure that the product temperature is not lower than 15 ° C. Component A should be mixed rapidly using a mechanical mixer and then the hardener (component B) should be added, paying attention to the mixing ratio. Components A and B should be mixed for at least 3 minutes using a mechanical mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Make sure that the prepared mixture is consumed throughout the pot life of the mixture.

Surface Application
Once ready to be applied, the mixture is preferably applied by airless spray or roller in the amount or such specified in the paint system to achieve the desired dry film thickness controlled by the wet film comb. Waiting time between coats is minimum 6 hours (20°C) and maximum 5 days. It is very important that the second coat is applied within the above-mentioned topcoat time. It reaches full mechanical and chemical strength in about 7 days.

Cleaning
Cellulosic or Polyurethane thinner.

1st Floor: 100-150 g/m2
2nd Floor: 100-150 g/m2

STORAGE INFORMATION
Store the product in a cool and dry place. Shelf life of the product is 1 year for Component A and 6 months for Component B when properly stored unopened in its original container.
