CELLULOSIC TOP COAT TRANSPARENT VARNISH (SILK MAT)

DEFINITION
It is an alkyd and nitrocellulose based, single component, air drying, silk matte furniture varnish.

PLACE OF USE
It is used as a finishing varnish on all kinds of solid and veneered wooden surfaces for internal use in the furniture and decoration industry.

ADVANTAGES
• Forms a hard and silky matte film,
• Scratch and impact resistant,
• The series dries.

NOTE
Drying times are the times that can be obtained when applied in a way that leaves a dry film thickness of 40 microns in one coat under normal conditions. It should be known that the drying time will increase as the application thickness increases and in cold weather.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Surface Preparation
The application surface must be clean and solid. Wooden surfaces should be cleaned of dust after appropriate sanding.

Ambient conditions
Ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +35°C. In applications to be carried out in closed environments, ventilation should be considered.

Preparation of the Mixture
Care should be taken to ensure that the paint to be thinned is at a minimum of 15°C. It should be brought to the application viscosity with the addition of Grren Lack Cellulosic Thinner, and a homogeneous mixture should be provided by using a mechanical mixer if necessary. Before starting the application, it should be rested for 10-15 minutes.

Application to the Surface
The mixture, which is made ready for application, should be applied layer by layer on the surfaces that have been applied Green lack Cellulosic or Polyurethane Filler varnish and sanded by air spraying, waiting for 20-30 minutes between layers depending on the desired surface fullness.

Cleaning of Equipment
With polyurethane thinner.

PACKING INFORMATION
It is 12 kg net in a bucket, 2.5 kg net in a gallon, and 0.75 kg net in a box.

STORAGE INFORMATION
The material should be stored in a cool and dry place. The life of the material is 1 year when stored properly and in its unopened original packaging.
